What LogiLand is

LogiLand is an experimental prototype that lets children practise speech and reading at home, as a game. On this website you can read about the product, join the waitlist and try some of the exercises in the browser.

Signing up is a request to stay informed. A paid subscription and a treatment agreement are separate from that sign-up. Diagnosis and treatment stay with the speech therapist.

Who it is for

The site is for speech therapists, parents and other visitors. Children use the exercises with a parent, guardian or speech therapist present. Children under 16 do so with permission from a parent or guardian.

If you are a speech therapist and you use LogiLand with a client, the treatment relationship stays between you, the child and the parents. We do not become that child's healthcare provider because of it.

Sign-up and accounts

This website does not have a user account yet. You sign up through the form on the site (Tally) or you send a message via contact. We use your data as the privacy policy describes.

A first name or exercise progress that the site stores in your browser stays on that device. If you clear site data, that progress is gone.

Acceptable use

You use the site and the exercises for what they are meant for.

• You do not try to break into the site, overload it or disrupt how it works.
• You do not send unlawful, misleading or offensive content through the forms.
• You use the microphone only for the exercise, with permission from the person speaking or from a parent or guardian.
• You do not copy the exercises or the site to offer them as your own product.

Availability

The prototype is in development. Features can change, go offline for a while or be removed. We try to keep the site available and do not guarantee that it always works without interruption or errors.

Intellectual property

Text, images, the game and the software of LogiLand stay with Dr. Product B.V. or our licensors. You receive a personal right to view the site and to use the exercises we have released. That right is for you personally.

What you type into a form stays yours. You allow us to use it to reply to you or to process your sign-up.

Liability

You use the experimental prototype on your own judgement, alongside a speech therapist where that guidance is needed. Results of an exercise, including speech recognition, can contain errors.

Where the law allows it, our liability is limited to direct damage. The maximum is the amount you paid us for LogiLand in the twelve months before the damage. If you paid nothing in that period, the maximum is €100.

Liability for intent or deliberate recklessness of management remains in place. Rights the law gives you as a consumer also remain in place. This limit applies to the free site and to agreements with practices, each within what the law allows in that situation.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. The latest version is on this page, with the date at the top. If you keep using the site after that, the updated terms apply.

Governing law

Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you can also go to the court of your place of residence when the law gives you that choice.
