Privacy policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
This is the privacy policy for the website logiland.nl and for the experimental prototype of LogiLand. Dr. Product B.V. explains which personal data we process, why, and which rights you have. This policy is not personal legal advice.
Who we are
The controller is Dr. Product B.V., established in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. LogiLand is the name of the product.
- Email: [email protected]
- Website: logiland.nl
What data we process
We only ask for what we need to run the website, the waitlist and practice.
- Contact form on contact: name, email address and your message.
- Waitlist: the fields you fill in on the Tally signup form, such as name, email address and, for speech therapists, practice details.
- Site visits: technical data the host receives, such as IP address, browser type and the page you open.
- Exercises in the browser: a first name and exercise progress, if you enter them. They stay in the browser on that device (localStorage) and are not sent to an account with us.
- Microphone: a short audio clip when you start an exercise that listens to check a word. Pronunciation exercises on the site do not store your voice. The reading game sends audio to speech recognition.
- Cookie choice and language: stored locally in your browser so we remember your choice and language.
Children
LogiLand is for home practice around speech disorders, with a parent or speech therapist nearby. On this website we do not ask for a citizen service number, a medical record or a diagnosis.
Children under 16 use the microphone and the exercises with permission from a parent or guardian. You can refuse the microphone in the browser. A first name stored in the exercises is removed when you clear site data for logiland.nl in the browser.
Why we process data, and the legal basis
- Contact form: to answer your question. Basis: your request (GDPR article 6(1)(b)).
- Waitlist: to tell you when LogiLand is available. Basis: your request for those messages (GDPR article 6(1)(b)). To stop the messages, email [email protected].
- Hosting and security: to show the site and limit abuse. Basis: legitimate interest (GDPR article 6(1)(f)).
- Statistics with cookies: to see which pages work, after you click Accept. Basis: consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)).
- Cookieless measurement after you refuse cookies: PostHog still receives anonymous events, such as a page view, without recognising you across visits with a cookie. Basis: legitimate interest (GDPR article 6(1)(f)). You can object via [email protected].
- Microphone and speech recognition: to hear whether a word is right, because you started that exercise. Basis: your request (GDPR article 6(1)(b)). Where an audio clip says something about speech or health, the basis is your consent by starting the exercise and allowing the microphone (GDPR article 9(2)(a)). You withdraw that consent by stopping or blocking the microphone.
Cookies
The cookie notice at the bottom of the site asks you to choose. Until you choose, we do not set an analytics cookie.
- Functional: a cookie for your language (preferred_locale). It is needed to keep the language you picked.
- Local, not a cookie: your cookie choice (logiland_cookie_consent) and, when you practise, first name and progress in localStorage.
- Statistics, after Accept: PostHog sets a cookie and measures page views, clicks on signup buttons and technical details about browser and device. That measurement does not include the email address from the contact form.
- After Decline: we do not set an analytics cookie. Because of the site setting (cookieless mode on refusal), PostHog still sends limited events without a cookie. Those events do not build a lasting profile of you.
- Performance: Vercel Speed Insights measures load times. That is not an advertising profile.
Retention
- Contact messages: up to 24 months after the last contact, then we delete them. Longer only when a legal duty requires it.
- Waitlist: until you unsubscribe, or until 24 months after the last email to you.
- Hosting logs: a few weeks, for security and fixing outages.
- Statistics in PostHog: 24 months at most.
- Audio: we do not keep the recording as a file in LogiLand. The clip goes to speech recognition so we can return a result. How long that service keeps the clip is set out in the processor agreement. Until that period is listed here, you can ask via [email protected].
- Data in your browser: it stays until you delete it.
Processors
We use services that process data for us. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
- Vercel: hosting the website and performance measurement.
- Resend: sending email from the contact form.
- Tally: waitlist signup forms.
- PostHog: product analytics.
- Railway: server that forwards reading-game audio to speech recognition.
- ElevenLabs: speech recognition in the reading game. ElevenLabs is the default service.
Transfers outside the EEA
Some of these services may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, we use the safeguards in the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses, where they apply to that service.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to email and admin tools is limited to people who need it. No way of storing data is free of risk. If you notice a data breach, email [email protected].
Your rights
You can ask us for access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest, and you can withdraw consent. Withdrawal applies going forward.
Email your request to [email protected]. We reply within one month. To check that the request is yours, we may ask you to confirm it.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens): autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Changes
We update this policy when the site or the processing changes. The date at the top is the version that applies. The current text is on this page.
